So here's the story...
I dont' purchase school portraits. I've long given up on overpriced, assembly line photography resulting in bad pictures of my children in front of the dreaded blue backdrop. I have too many years of "photo sheets" that I feel too guilty to throw away.
Now that the school year is just about over, I finally got around to taking our school portraits (go me!). The girls were fresh from the salon with their purple, pink and blue feathers woven into their hair and felt sassy. Time to throw on the uniforms and strike a pose.
P sat pretty for hers, while D came in kicking and screaming from climbing a tree, wanting NOTHING to do with it. It was quite a fight. Tears, fits, dirty looks and all. She tried to throw on a half-buttoned uniform shirt over her red tank top and skip the tie, and argue about it. Until I started snapping. Then she sat up and announced, "When you say, "Smile, I say 'Action'". I dont' call her my little Keyser Soze for nothing.
